oh and the crucial thing of the day: MUST THEY SET SO MANY EFFING TESTS IN ONE BLOODY WEEK NO. but they just WANT TO. and of COURSE. set them BACK TO BACK so the students have to mug all night to cram their brains with information they maybe wont even need in the future and score lovely marks THEN ignore their presence because they didn't make it for IP.
and no, they dont just set the tests BACK TO BACK they set the tests with LOADS to study.
fuckoff man.
ME: i lost my chinese words paper, so i cant study for the chinese test! plus my chinese textbook and ciyu shou ce which is in school under my table now!
and i cant take in any effing thing about biology. which btw, includes, enzymes microorganisms, fermentation and co., and nutrition!
and it makes a HUGE difference not to include the last part about the liver and our metabolism rate in the test. it really HELPS thanks so so much.
SO what do we have to study? other than chemistry, about a hundred words for chinese, and the killing mathematics?
I REALLY WONDER.
and all the school can care from day to day is:
whether we still fidget after the first command after the announcements.
whether we have our nametags on, our socks high up, our hairbands in legal colours and earrings in simple silver/gold studs.
whether we stand in the [whatever you spell it] sediah position with our hands at our back and our legs apart
whether we are a second late for assembly and three times late = three seconds late in total for 6 weeks.
whether we give out our flags with a smile and bring up the reputation of nanyang g-i-r-s.
whether we make it to the papers because of some buay song auntie on the mrt
whether our skirts are 2 cms shorter than what they like
whether we can make the profit they request for our foodandfunfair even if we use our own money despite their honeyed words about how they hope we can sponser.
whether our classtshirts have the school logo that is at least the size of our fists
whether our classrooms are clean enough for our parents [just in time]
whether we score well enough during the O levels to maintain our rank in the nation and not how we get there in the first place.
HONESTLY when what they should be caring is:
how on earth we are supposed to juggle the foodandfunfair with 4-6 major tests in a week with a fucking deadline
how on earth we feel about the school and not how others feel about the school
how we benefit from the funfair the experience and all, but not the effing profit and money that comes rolling in
are the students actually enjoying school and not going there for a grade in the o levels and leaving with the expression that nanyang g-i-r-s are just empty shells with huge capacities for memorising.
are the students actually reading the papers, not whether the students appear in the papers
it never occured that if the students love the school, they'd do anything to do it proud, to give it everything they have. not by forced means like money, when the school looks perfectly alright.
